The centerfielder from Honolulu is the Sox catalyst and is hitting .362 with 7 doubles, 2 triples, 2 homers and 20 RBIs for the 21-5 AppleSox. The AppleSox are hitting an amazing .303 as a team, and are running away from the field in the WCL East. The WCL defending champs were ranked #4 in last week's summer college national poll released by Perfect Game Crosschecker. This past spring, Almadova hit .298 with 16 doubles and 16 stolen bases for the Rainbows.
