CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES
1. HOW TO ENTER: The West Coast League Hawaiian Vacation Giveaway contest is presented by the West Coast League (WCL) and its member teams. The contest begins June 5, 2009 and concludes
July 31, 2009 ("Entry Period"). To enter during the Entry Period, complete an entry form found at WCL ballparks in British Columbia, Washington and Oregon. Place the completed entry form in the designated
entry box at any WCL ballpark. All entries become the property of the WCL and its member teams and will not be returned. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules and the
decisions of the contest administrators, WCL officials and team officials are final and binding on all matters relating to this contest.
2. ENTRY RETRICTIONS: Employees and the immediate families and household members of such employees of the WCL or its member teams or contest sponsors are not eligible to enter or win a prize.
3. SELECTION OF WINNERS: A random drawing will be conducted on or about 8/1/09 from among all eligible entries received by WCL teams, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to
this contest. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received by each team. Each team will select one winner through random drawing. The winner will receive one autographed team bat, one
autographed team baseball and four tickets to a 2010 Seattle Mariners game at Safeco Field in Seattle. The winner is responsible for any and all expenses related to attending such game at Safeco Field.
The specific game shall be mutually agreed upon between the contest winner and the Seattle Mariners. Each team winner will be eligible for a random drawing which will be conducted on or about 8/10/09 by
the WCL, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this contest. One of eight such winners will be randomly selected to receive two roundtrip Hawaiian Air tickets between either Portland
or Seattle and Honolulu and five-nights stay at the newly renovated Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel in Honolulu. All other costs, such as transfers, food, and any such costs associated with the Hawaiian Air
tickets and the five-nights stay at the Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel are the responsibility of the random winner. Hawaiian Air tickets are for dates and flights to be mutually agreed upon by Hawaiian Air
and the winner. The five-nights stay at the Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel is for dates to be mutually agreed upon by the Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel and the winner, but five-nights to be used prior to
August 30, 2010..
4. PRIZES: Each of eight WCL teams will give one random winner an autographed team bat, an autographed team baseball and four tickets to a 2010 Seattle Mariners game at Safeco Field in Seattle.
That winner will become one of eight winners eligible to win the two roundtrip Hawaiian Air tickets and the five-nights stay at the Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel.
5. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or cash equivalents permitted. All federal, state and local taxes and airline surcharges (if any) are the sole responsibility of the
winner(s). By accepting the opportunity to participate in the contest, winner(s) consents to the use by the team and/or the WCL of his/her name, city and state of residence and/or photograph for advertising,
promotional and other purposes on-line and off-line and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without additional compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the WCL teams, the WCL and the sponsors and each of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents,
successors and assigns from any and all liabilities, damages, losses, injuries, claims and actions of any kind arising out of or resulting from participation in the contest or from the acceptance, use, or misuse
of any prize or other benefit including, without limitation, claims based on death, publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.
